The term "Moed" (מועד), the singular form of Moadim, can also be translated as "appointed time" or "meeting place". 

More specifically, "Moadim" encompasses: 

Sabbaths: The weekly day of rest. 

The Holy Days: Festivals like Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot, which are set apart for specific rituals and observances. 

Chol HaMoed: The intermediate days of Passover and Sukkot, which are not full holidays but still have some special observances. 

The concept of "Moadim" highlights the importance of setting aside specific times for spiritual reflection, community, and connection with God, according to Chabad.org. 

Jews traditionally refer to the Hebrew language as Lashon Hakodesh, “the Holy Tongue.” Modern Hebrew, on the other hand, is referred to as Ivrit (Hebrew for “Hebrew”).
